BarTender Automation Printer Add-On, 15-Printer to 20-Printer License Upgrade

As your printing needs increase, you may have to occasionally increase your BarTender’s printing capacity as well.  The networked-based licensing of BarTender is controlled by a utility called the Seagull License Server (SLS).  This behind-the-scenes utility manages how many printers that you can print to, based on the respective BarTender license that you purchased.

When the time comes to add printers to your BarTender license, you can purchase a license upgrade* (aka, a Printer Add-On) that increases your BarTender license’s printer capacity.

To upgrade your BarTender license, below are items you will need to get started:

• The BarTender Product Key Code, Support Number, or Box ID.
• The number of printers that you need to upgrade your BarTender license to.**

 *Versions that are EOS (end-of-sale / end-of-support) may not be eligible for upgrade, unless the license has an active maintenance agreement.

**BarTender license increments are: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 +

About the BarTender Automation Edition

BarTender Automation is a network-based license that allows unlimited installations of BarTender (users) on a enterprise network. This edition includes all of BarTender's most powerful label design features.  These are intuitive design features to enable virtually anyone to create, print and encode RFID labels in minutes.

The Automation edition also enables numerous software integration tools, such as ActiveX Automation, enterprise messaging, and the Commander utility for cross-platform integration.  It also support SAP iDocs, RFID tags, and pard printing functions.  Included with this edition are nearly all of BarTender's Companion Applications and allows users to log data to local databases.

Make label and barcode printing even more simplified with BarTender’s included companion applications.  Batch Maker ties multiple llabel formats together and Print Station enables an operator with only the ability to select and print only (prevents unwanted label modifications.)
